Employee consent evidence (provisioning message)
Who sends and who receives messages
- Sender: Drop Industries, LLC (via automated system on dedicated internal phone numbers)
- Recipients: Only employees or contractors whose mobile numbers are explicitly authorized by an administrator
- Purpose: Transactional replies only — confirmations, command responses (HELP, LAST, UNDO), and error notices related to ideas the employee texts in
Opt-in method (single path — administrative provisioning)
There is no public signup form, no keyword opt-in, and
no marketing list. Opt-in is completed through the following internal workflow:
- A company administrator identifies an employee who needs access to the idea-capture SMS line.
- The administrator adds that employee’s mobile phone number to the authorized-senders allowlist in the internal admin console (Firestore-backed configuration).
- The administrator provides the employee with the dedicated program phone number (via email, chat, or in person) and the program overview below.
- The administrator confirms the employee understands:
- They may text work ideas to the number to create internal ClickUp tasks.
- They will receive automated transactional SMS replies (confirmations and command responses).
- Message and data rates may apply.
- They can text STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.
- Links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- The employee’s first text message to the program number after being provisioned constitutes consent to receive transactional replies for this internal program.
What happens when an employee texts in
- Employee sends a standard SMS from their authorized mobile number to the assigned program number.
- The system verifies the sender is on the allowlist.
- The message is converted into an internal task in ClickUp (project management).
- The employee may receive an automated transactional reply (e.g., confirmation with task link, or command response). Replies are not promotional.
Message frequency
Frequency varies by use. Typically one confirmation reply per idea submitted, plus occasional
command replies (HELP, LAST, UNDO, ADD). No recurring marketing or promotional messages are sent.
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out
- Text STOP to stop receiving SMS replies from the program.
- Text START to re-enable replies after opting out.
- Text HELP for command list and support contact.
- An administrator may also remove the employee’s number from the allowlist at any time.
Required disclosures (shown to employees at provisioning)
Administrators share the following with each authorized employee before first use (see full provisioning template):
Sample messages employees may receive (transactional only)
- “Saved to Pat – Inbox: ‘Add band drop preview’ https://app.clickup.com/t/… Reply UNDO within 5 min to remove.”
- “Text-to-ClickUp commands: Send any message → creates a task · HELP · LAST · UNDO · STOP”
- “You have been unsubscribed from Internal Idea Capture SMS replies. Reply START to re-enable.”
